Taking photographs was always great fun for me, and photography blossomed into my creative outlet as an adult. It still keeps that childlike wonder and thrill of discovery alive in me. It continues to be my joyful place as well as a challenge, capturing special moments in nature and wildlife or landscapes to create something pleasing to the eye. I am inspired by the beauty and uniqueness of nature, and always in pursuit of the elusive, “perfect” photograph. And this is why I practice photography!

I am based in Parry Sound, Ontario – the heart of the 30,000 Islands of Georgian Bay and the Georgian Bay Biosphere Mnidoo Gamii. While I love to travel and discover beautiful places and capture moments through my camera lens, I have no shortage of subject matter in and around my own town and backyard. Nature and wildlife photography draw me the most, but other genres are also a lot of fun! I enjoy discovering wonderful details with macro photography, product and real estate photography, assisting other photographers, and occasionally playing with still life. All genres hold both a challenge and a good time!
